Case studies

Not convinced yet? You should not be.

If you have paid an agency before, you probably got monthly reports full of clicks and impressions while your calendar stayed the same. So do not take our word for anything. This page has two case studies, a quote from a client, and screenshots straight out of the ad accounts. If you go ahead, your ads run on your own accounts and your own card, so you can check every dollar yourself.

Case study 01

Twice the leads in one month on Google Ads.

A Google Ads account in August 2026. Over the month it brought in 39 leads at A$34.61 each, on about A$1,350 of ad spend.

What happened

Leads went from 19 in the previous period to 39. Cost per lead rose by A$3.47, from A$31.14 to A$34.61. The account doubled its leads and paid about 11% more for each one, which is a good result.

About one in five people who clicked the ad became a lead. That rate depends on the landing page as much as the ad, which is why we build both.

What it means for you, and what it does not

This is one account over one month, and these are leads, not booked jobs. Treat it as a reference point, not a forecast for your business.

Case study 02

From zero paid leads to 82 booked.

An Australian trades business with a good name and a calendar that ran entirely on word-of-mouth. They had no ads and no landing page, so when referrals slowed down, so did the work.

What we built

We built the ads, a landing page with one job, follow-up automations in the CRM, and qualifying questions on the form that screen out tyre-kickers. The budget stayed at roughly A$25 a day, enough to prove the system worked before spending more.

What happened

The first booked lead came in three days after launch. It was a homeowner who booked an on-site quote. That is faster than we would ever promise, and it is not the norm.

Over Christmas the account was switched off for 17 days. When it came back on, it kept booking. In February 2026 it booked 31 leads in a single month. To date that is 82 booked leads on A$5,319.62 of ad spend.

What it means for you, and what it does not

This is one client in one trade and one market. Treat it as a reference point, not a forecast. Your trade, your area and the size of your jobs will all move the numbers, which is why we will not quote you a cost per lead before we have looked at your business.

Where this comes from. The Google Ads screenshot further down, 82 leads at A$64.87, is this account, with the identifying details removed.

In their words

What it is like to work with us, from someone who has.

[LVRG] was extremely helpful, honest and talented with the set up of my business marketing needs, [they were] transparent and reassuring with all my decisions, I wouldn't trust anyone else to take care of my website.
Jack MacFadyenPlumber

Jack's quote does not mention clicks or cost per lead. It is about honesty and being kept in the loop. If an agency has burnt you before, that is probably what worries you most, and a screenshot cannot show it.

Raw account data

Still sceptical? Here are the numbers.

These screenshots come straight out of Meta and Google. We hid the company names and left the numbers alone.

Google Ads scorecard showing 82 leads at A$64.87 per lead
Google Ads 82 leads at A$64.87 each.
Google Ads scorecard showing 50 leads at A$41.29 per lead
Google Ads 50 leads at A$41.29 each.
Google Ads scorecard showing 27 leads at A$31.02 per lead
Google Ads 27 leads at A$31.02 each.

They come from different businesses, markets and months. We do not show anyone the accounts themselves, for the same reason we would never show yours.

Why the range

Why one lead costs $13 and another costs $64.

This matters when you compare agencies. Anyone who promises a single cost-per-lead figure without asking about your business is guessing.

Platform

Meta interrupts people who were not looking yet, so leads are cheaper and need faster follow-up. Google catches active searchers, so it costs more per lead and closes better.

Competition

A trade with ten competitors bidding in a capital city pays more per click than the same trade in a regional market.

Job value

A $64 lead on a $30,000 job is a bargain. A $13 lead on a $200 callout might not be. So the number to watch is cost per booked job.

If you have been burnt before

The questions worth asking any agency. Here are our answers.

Ask every agency you are talking to these six questions and compare the answers.

What if it does not work?

We review lead quality, campaign costs and booked work with you, then adjust the ads, landing page or follow-up based on what the figures show. Your engagement is month to month, with 30 days notice either side.

Am I locked in?

No. There is no minimum term. If it stops being worth it, you can leave.

Can I see where the money goes?

Your ad spend runs on your own Meta and Google accounts, on your card. Log in any time and see every dollar.

Who owns the leads?

You do. Every enquiry and contact record is yours to export whenever you want, including the day you leave.

Will you work with my competitor?

No. We take one client per suburb per trade, so you will never bid against another LVRG client for the same homeowners.

Can I talk to a client?

Where a client has agreed in advance to be a reference, yes. Ask on the call and we will tell you honestly whether we have one in a comparable trade.

On confidentiality

Why this page is shorter than most.

You have probably seen agency pages with a wall of five-star quotes from stock-photo people with no trade and no suburb. Anyone can fake those, and most readers know it.

Most of our clients would rather their competitors did not know what they spend or how much work it brings in. So we do not name a client unless they say yes, and we would hold the same line for you. We show account data with the identifying details removed, and quotes from clients who agreed to be named.

That means fewer logos on this page. It also means your numbers would get the same protection.

Next step

Bring your hardest questions.

The call takes 45 minutes. We will look at where your next customers should come from and what we would build for your business. Then we will tell you whether it is worth doing. If it is not, we will say so.
