Straight answers

Questions worth asking before you sign.

What we do, what it costs, what the numbers really mean, and who owns what. Including the answers that are not flattering to us. If yours is not here, ring 0468 098 568 and ask it.

What we actually do
What does LVRG actually do?

We design, build and run the whole growth engine for a service business: the paid advertising, the website it points at, the local search rankings, and the follow-up that turns an enquiry into a booking.

The reason it is all four is that they only work together. Ads pointed at a website that does not convert waste money. A website nobody can find does nothing. And enquiries that sit unanswered for a day are just a more expensive way of losing the job.

Do you only run Facebook ads?

No. We run campaigns on both Meta and Google, and they do different jobs.

Google catches people already searching for what you do, so the intent is high and the cost per lead is higher. Meta puts you in front of people who were not looking yet, so leads are cheaper but need faster, better follow-up. Most businesses want both eventually. Which one we start with depends on your market and what you sell.

Do you build the website as well?

Yes, and usually we want to. A fast, credible page with one clear job is the difference between traffic and enquiries.

You can see five recent builds on the work page: a decking landing page built purely to book site visits, a 24/7 emergency plumbing site built to own its city's searches, a quote-ready site for a roofing crew, and two others.

What is follow-up automation, in plain terms?

When someone enquires, they get an immediate response, not one when you next get off a roof. An instant text acknowledging them by name, a link to book a time, and a sequence that keeps in touch if they go quiet.

This matters more than most people expect. Someone who fills in a form after seeing an ad was not planning their day around you, and that intent fades fast. Answer in minutes and you are the only quote they are considering. Answer tomorrow and you are competing with whoever answered today.

Who do you work with?

Australian service businesses, and in practice mostly trades. That covers painters, roofers, cleaners, security camera and CCTV installers, plumbers, electricians, renovators, builders, concreters, landscapers, tilers and deck builders. Recent work includes decking, plumbing, roofing, painting and rainwater tank supply and installation.

The common thread is that you sell a job worth chasing, you can take on more work, and someone can respond to an enquiry quickly. If those three are not true, more leads will not help you and we will say so.

Money and commitment
What does it cost?

It depends on what you need built and what you need run, so we quote it after the first call rather than before it. A business that needs a new website, Google and Meta running, and automation built from scratch is a different job from one that needs ads managed on top of a site that already converts.

What we can tell you now: you get a fixed monthly figure before you commit to anything, and there are no surprise add-ons on top of it.

Is ad spend included in that?

No, and it should not be. Your ad spend goes on your own Meta and Google accounts, on your card, so you can log in and see every dollar.

When an agency runs your spend through their account you cannot verify what was actually spent, and you lose the whole account history the day you leave. Ours is a separate line you control.

Am I locked into a contract?

No lock-in. If it stops being worth it you can leave, and we would rather earn the next month than hold you to the last one.

A long minimum term is usually how an agency protects itself from its own results.

Results and timing
What results have you actually got?

Screenshots straight out of the ad accounts, on the work page:

  • Meta Ads: 204 leads at $13.53 each.
  • Google Ads: 82 leads at A$64.87 each.
  • Google Ads: 50 leads at A$41.29 each.
  • Google Ads: 27 leads at A$31.02 each.

Different businesses, different markets, different months. Client names are hidden because our clients stay confidential, but the numbers are untouched. On the first call we will walk you through the accounts they came from.

Why is one lead $13 and another $64?

Because a lead is not a standard unit, and anyone quoting you a single cost-per-lead figure without asking about your business is guessing.

Three things move it. Platform: Meta interrupts people who were not looking, so it is cheaper per lead and needs more work to qualify. Google catches active searchers, so it costs more and closes better. Competition: a trade with ten competitors bidding in a capital city pays more than one in a regional market. Job value: a $60 lead on a $30,000 job is a bargain; a $13 lead on a $200 callout may not be.

Which is why the number worth watching is cost per booked job, not cost per lead.

How quickly will I see enquiries?

Depends which part of the engine.

Paid ads can produce enquiries within days of going live, once there is a page worth sending traffic to. That is the fast lever and it is usually where we start if you need work booked this quarter.

Local search is the slow, compounding one. Realistically four to eighteen months before it is carrying meaningful volume, depending on how competitive your area is. It is genuinely worth doing, and anyone promising you page one in a month is not being straight with you.

Can I see proof before I commit?

Yes. Ask on the call and we will screen-share the actual ad accounts behind the numbers on the work page, rather than a slide about them.

If an agency will not show you the account behind a figure it publishes, that is your answer.

Can I speak to one of your clients?

Our clients stay confidential, which is why no company names appear anywhere on this site. That protects them, and it would protect you too: we would not publish your numbers or put your name in a case study without asking.

Where a client has agreed in advance to act as a reference, we will connect you. Ask on the call and we will tell you honestly whether we have someone in a comparable trade.

Working together
What do you need from me?

Three things, and the first one is not negotiable:

  • Answer enquiries fast. Minutes, not days. We build the automation that buys you that window, but at some point a person has to pick up the phone.
  • Photos of real finished jobs. Your own work sells; stock photography does not.
  • Straight numbers. What a job is worth to you, and what you actually quoted and won. Without those we are optimising towards a target we cannot see.

You do not need to learn Ads Manager or approve every headline.

What if I cannot keep up with the enquiries?

Tell us and we will turn the budget down. Genuinely.

Booking more work than you can deliver is not a win. The jobs run late, the reviews turn, and the reputation damage outlasts the extra revenue. A smaller budget you can service properly beats a bigger one you cannot.

Do I own the ad accounts, the website and the leads?

The accounts and the leads, yes. Ads run on your own Meta and Google accounts, and every enquiry and contact record is yours to export whenever you want.

On the website and the funnel we build, ask us directly on the call and get the answer in writing before you sign. That goes for us and for anyone else you are speaking to. It is the question people only think to ask when they are leaving, which is exactly too late.

Getting started
What happens on the first call?

Twenty minutes. We look at where your next customers should be coming from, what is currently stopping them, and which part of the engine is the weak link. Often it is not the thing you expect: plenty of businesses do not have a lead generation problem, they have a follow-up problem, and buying more leads would just waste money faster.

You will get a straight read on whether this is worth doing, and a number, before anyone asks you to commit.

What if it is not a fit?

We will tell you on the call rather than sell you something that will not work. If your job values are too small for paid acquisition, or you cannot get to enquiries quickly, taking your money would waste it and cost us a reference.

Sometimes the honest answer is to fix your follow-up and your Google Business Profile first and spend nothing with anyone. If that is the answer, you will hear it.

Still wondering

Ask us the awkward one.

If something here was vague, that is worth a phone call rather than another page of copy. Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm AEST.
